Burtoni
According to his website Ben Burton (Burtoni) began making glass in January of 1999, in Hawaii on O'ahu. He began with a simple apprenticeship making pendants and other small functional pieces. Ben's abilities to work the medium increased quickly with the help and advice of friends and collegues, and the teachings of his mentor. In 2002, Ben took a workshop with robert Mickelsen, which opened up a new world of possibliites. With the support of his family, Ben was able to travel to Venice Italy, where he studied with the well known artis, Lucio Bubacco. Ben's creativity took off from there!
